Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:59 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 200 block of Roselawn Avenue.

11:51 a.m. Yampa firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 27200 block of Watson Creek Trail.



1:47 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help with an unattended death in the 1000 block of Merritt Street.

2:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of check fraud at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.



4:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a head-on crash in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. One person had minor injuries.

4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a kidnapping in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive. A child was seen getting into a car. The child was at a neighbor’s house and was fine.

6:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:49 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 900 block of Dry Creek South Road.
