Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a noise complaint in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. Officers knocked on the door, and it was opened and shut. The noise inside stopped.

8:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to found property in the 800 block of Yampa Street. A bag of pills was dropped off at the police department.

1:22 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a bike complaint at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. A biker was cut off by a truck. The driver of the truck was issued a citation for careless driving.

6:44 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to reports of threats in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man was fired from his job, and his former boss kept calling him to repay a loan. The former employee filed a complaint.

8:10 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded a disturbance in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. A man was arrested for violation of a protection order and third-degree assault.

11:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue where there were reports of spray painting. Officers contacted two women dressed in all black, and both women’s hands were wet with paint. Both were arrested.
