Police, fire and ambulance calls
6:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man behaving strangely at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. He had been seen wearing a mask at times. Police received several other calls about the man during the morning.
7:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who lost prescription drugs and cigarettes on a bus.
9:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a man who fell off a one-story roof in the 27400 block of Silver Spur.
10:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was stuck in a carwash in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. She was gone when officers arrived.
10:53 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who may have had a stroke in the 400 block of Meadowbrook Court.
10:54 a.m. Officers were called to check on an elderly woman who was walking around in circles at Bud Werner Memorial Library.
1:40 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a woman bitten by an animal in Yampa.
2:59 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 24800 block of Routt County Road 56.
4:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost an identification card and credit card in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
6:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a snowboard stolen from a bar in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
6:33 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
6:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said someone was knocking on her door in the 1700 block of Alexander Way.
9:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an abandoned Subaru that was running with its lights on in the 2500 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was gone when officers arrived.
9:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a semi that had been idling for 30 minutes in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The driver was contacted, and he said he was trying to take a nap. He was told to go to the Stock Bridge Transit Center.
10:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was refusing to pay his bar tab for $26.75 in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was placed in custody but let go after the man’s mother came and paid the tab.
10:33 p.m. Officers contacted a very drunken man who was falling over at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to detox.
11:07 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a drunken person at hot springs in the 44200 block of C.R. 36.
11:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who left a campground in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue, and she may have been driving drunk. Officers contacted her, and she was not drunk.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS – In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, the city of Steamboat Springs has teamed up with several other local municipalities to transition two city facilities to using solar energy.
