Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of between six to eight people playing loud music and wrestling in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. They were told to quiet down.

7:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a semi spilling coal at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. They pulled over and secured the coal.



10:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of dogs chasing elk in the 500 block of Jay Court.

11:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at the Howelsen Ice Arena.



11:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog that bit another dog in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court.

11:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen package that contained a valuable ring.

11:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of unauthorized charges on a credit card in the 100 block of Missouri Avenue. The charges were for about $30 in the Las Vegas area.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2500 block of Downhill Drive who wanted to report a Craigslist scam.

1:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was separated from her daughter while skiing at Howelsen Hill. They were reunited.

1:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza who wanted to report a Craigslist scam.

1:34 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way.

3:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at a bus stop on Pine Grove Road. It was returned to the owner.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car passing illegally at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. It could not be located.

5:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person being belligerent and trying to pick a fight in the 800 block of Weiss Drive.

6:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $1,400 unauthorized charge on a debit card.

6:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.

8:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person riding the bus for an excessive amount of time.

9:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was beat up earlier in the day in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. There was alcohol involved.

9:07 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell at a bar in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise in the 600 block of Mountain Village Circle. It was an ongoing issue, and a citation was issued.

10:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken female stumbling around for an hour in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.

11:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person at Chinook Lane and Walton Creek Road who was assaulted a couple of hours earlier.
