Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:59 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people being loud around a bonfire in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were told to quiet down.

4:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. The music was turned down after officers knocked on the door.



7:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1700 block of Brome Drive who had a fraudulent charge on a credit card.

9:47 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a back injury in the 27300 block of Home Ranch Road.



11:15 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of tools stolen at Routt County Road 61 and Harvest Drive.

12:58 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury at Hayden Valley Elementary School.

2:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a black vehicle swerving and not stopping at a stop sign at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle was found, but no one was inside.

3:51 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three people yelling at a female in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. Everything was fine.

4:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car stolen in the 1700 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The car had been parked there for a while.

6:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A pedestrian slapped a car as it turned in front of the pedestrian. Officers talked with the people involved.

6:45 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 700 block of Lillian Lane.

7:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car being driven erratically at Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive. It could not be located.

8:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people arguing about a skateboard in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear in court, and a citation was issued for underage possession of marijuana.

9:02 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

9:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of 15 to 20 people being loud in the 2200 block of Ski Trail Lane. They were told to quiet down.

9:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a large group of people being loud in a parking lot in the 3200 block of Columbine Drive. They were told to quiet down.

10:25 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a wildfire near mile marker 143 on Rabbit Ears Pass. It was a construction sign with a light on the side of the road.
