Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud music coming from a bar. A citation was issued.

1:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A driver was angry because his passenger threw up in his car, and they started fighting. A pit bull jumped out of a nearby window and went toward the men who were fighting. The dog’s owner intervened, and one of of the men tried to punch him. The man who threw the punch was bitten by the pit bull. No charges were filed, and the dog was quarantined.



1:46 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an animal bite at Stagecoach State Park. A person was bitten while trying to break up a fight between a dog and a coyote. It was not clear which animal bit the man.

7:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 900 block of Weiss Drive.



7:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the first block of Missouri Avenue. A resident discovered a patch of grass had been burned.

8:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who showed up at a urology appointment intoxicated in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. The person could not be located.

9:35 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in the 400 block of Pine Street.

10:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of gasoline stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:44 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.

1:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing at a hotel in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a warning.

2:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car could not be located.

2:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gasoline stolen in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

2:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee leaving threatening messages at a gym in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

8:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

9:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding at Bob Adams Drive and 12th Street. It could not be located.

9:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen vehicle at Yampa and Eighth Streets. The owner had parked the car on a different block.

9:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving unwanted phone calls in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive.

9:40 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell on the Yampa River Core Trail.

9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. People at a bus stop were arguing and could not be located.

10:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A warning was issued.

10:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man being harassed by an ex-girlfriend in the 300 block of Ore House Plaza.
