Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man passed out behind the wheel of a car at Pearl and Agate streets. The 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
1:56 a.m. Officers contacted a drunk person in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:34 a.m. Officers were called to report of a wallet and phone stolen on New Year’s Eve.
8:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a credit card and ID at a bar.
10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man making customers uncomfortable at a bagel shop in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.
11:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman driving with a small baby in her lap at a marijuana store in the 2700 block of Downhill Plaza. She could not be located.
12:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost an iPhone in Steamboat.
12:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who left a toddler in a car while grocery shopping in the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person was located and told about the dangers of leaving a toddler in a car.
2:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report a laptop and three bottles of alcohol stolen from a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a business in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person put a deposit on an item, and then the item was sold.
4:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost an iPhone. It was located.
6:27 p.m. Officers were called to check on a suicidal person. The person was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
6:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars parked illegally on Yampa Street in front of the downtown fire station. They were all ticketed.
9:49 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a rollover crash in the 29500 block of Routt County Road 27. A person was taken to YVMC.
11:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person lying in the middle of the road at Lincoln Avenue and Indian Trails. He was intoxicated and given a ride home.
