Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear getting into trash in the first block of Anglers Drive.

5:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car being driven around without its lights on in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.



7:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike on the railroad tracks by 13th Street.

7:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person sleeping in a car at Fetcher Park. A written warning was given for camping in city limits.



10:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears getting into trash at Logan Avenue and Larimer Street.

11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver’s license found at Steamboat Ski Area.

11:44 a.m. A driver’s license found on Buffalo Pass was turned in to police.

11:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a driver who crashed her car into a pond in the 41800 block of Routt County Road 44. The driver was not injured.

1:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person returned and paid.

1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone lost at Shield Drive and 13th Street.

2:27 p.m. A found cane was turned in at the police department.

3:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving harassing text messages in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

4:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike in the Yampa River near Bud Werner Memorial Library.

4:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:21 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.

5:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors arguing in the 500 block of Wyatt Drive. A written warning was given.

5:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars parked at a bank drive-thru.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was upset about the way a car was parked in the 700 block of Yampa Street, and the man let the air out of one of the car’s tires. The man was given a summons for criminal tampering.

7:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who said their phone was stolen at Red Rocks and was being used in Steamboat.

9:58 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone with an unknown medical problem in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

10:50 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people trespassing at a pool in the first block of Balsam Court. A warning was given.
