Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a prowler in the 400 block of Cherry Drive. Someone was trying to get into a home. The person was drunk and taken to detox.

2:59 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a back injury in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue.



5:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a work truck burglarized in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway. Keys were missing, and there was damage to a radio.

9:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears getting into a trash can in the 2500 block of Ridge Road.



10:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a woman with a dislocated knee at Rita Valentine Park. A dog had run into the woman.

1:14 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of an accident at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.

2:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The person could not be located.

2:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a family holding a cardboard sign asking for money in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man riding a bike at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The person was contacted and was fine.

3:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraudulent charges on a credit card.

3:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car keyed in the 1800 block of Central Park Plaza.

3:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 300 block of Kelhi Court. A person had friends over, and medical marijuana was stolen. The person did not want to file a report.

4:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet.

6:15 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 100 block of Fifth Street.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who received harassing text messages threatening vandalism of their car.

7:51 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an elderly person who possibly broke a hip in the first block of Cedar Court.

8:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was speeding and driving erratically. Something came out of the car and broke a windshield.

10:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars playing loud music at Steamboat Springs High School.

10:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found on a bus.

11:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of students who had drugs at Colorado Mountain College. One student was issued a summons for underage possession of alcohol, and another was issued a summons for underage possession of marijuana.
