1:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car left running in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.

1:53 a.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a 65-year-old man having chest pains.

6:36 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car crash on Colorado Highway 131. A van with three people inside rolled on its side. Routt County Commissioner Nancy Stahoviak suffered broken bones and was the only person injured.



8:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Merritt and Pahwintah streets.

8:25 a.m. Officers helped a driver in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.



8:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken car window in the 2400 block of Après Ski Way.

9:10 a.m. Officers were called to check on a person in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Officers could not find the person.

9:50 a.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of a dog loose at U.S. Highway 40 and Downhill Drive.

10:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that tried to pass a bus on the right side in the 300 block of Apple Drive.

11:09 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of an abandoned car at mile marker 124 on U.S. 40.

11:13 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a car that slid off U.S. 40 on Rabbit Ears Pass.

11:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Hillside Drive and Storm Mountain Court.

12:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a shoplifter at a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers arrested a juvenile.

1:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Third and Oak streets.

2:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. No damage was reported.

2:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:04 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off the road near mile marker 49 on Colo. 131.

5:26 p.m. Officers responded to a report of three large bags of trash in the street in the 1800 block of Hunters Court.

6:31 p.m. Officers arrested a 30-year-old Denver man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:32 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a dog loose at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
