Steamboat Springs — 12:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and mental health professionals were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian at Seventh and Yampa streets. Officers took the person to detox.
1:08 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian at Old Fish Creek Falls Road and Lincoln Avenue.
1:44 a.m. Police were called to a report of a stolen red Jeep Cherokee in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man left the Jeep running and went inside the business to help load musical equipment, but when he returned, it was gone.
2:05 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a car crash near 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A Jeep that matched the description of the one reported stolen from the 600 block of Lincoln was found abandoned on the 13th Street Bridge. Police said it appeared that the driver hit a street lamp and glanced off the bridge’s guardrail before stopping on the sidewalk. Police couldn’t provide any information about the driver Sunday but said they processed DNA and fingerprint evidence before the Jeep was towed.
2:12 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was taken to the hospital and then to detox.
10:34 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
1:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the 2100 block of Curve Court.
1:49 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat.
2:17 p.m. Police were called to a report of stolen skis from a shuttle rack in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
3:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a found backpack in the 1800 block of Shield Drive. Officers made contact with the owner, who will pick up the backpack this week.
4:13 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were dispatched to a carbon monoxide alarm in the 500 block of Dabney Lane.
4:26 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat.
5 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. A parked vehicle was blaring music. It was gone when officers arrived.
6:04 p.m. Police were called to assist a motorist at Old Fish Creek Falls Road and Lincoln Avenue.
6:41 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were dispatched to a fire alarm in the 32700 block of Waters Edge Court.
9:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a vehicle fire at mile marker 136 on U.S. 40.
10:05 p.m. Police contacted a citizen in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Some people were messing with a statue. Officers gave them a verbal warning to stop.
10:58 p.m. Police contacted a citizen who was carrying an open alcoholic beverage at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The person was not aware that wasn’t allowed and was given a verbal warning.
