12:36 a.m. A domestic disturbance was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man broke down a door during a verbal and physical dispute with a woman. The man was arrested on criminal mischief charges.

6:19 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs. A 64-year-old man was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center with a back injury.

7:54 a.m. Theft was reported in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a wallet was stolen Monday night. Steamboat Springs police took a report.

9:59 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle, where a Chevrolet Avalanche on display had been damaged overnight. Police said unknown assailants keyed the vehicle, slashed one of its tires, threw a brick through the driver’s side window and broke off the side-view mirror. Police are investigating.

10:27 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1400 block of 13th Street, where city transit officials received a threatening phone message. An intoxicated man who was dissatisfied with service threatened to cause a disturbance on a city bus and left a profanity-laced tirade against transit personnel. Police contacted the man and warned him never to use the city’s bus service again. No charges were filed.

11:10 a.m. Lost property was reported near the Steamboat Ski Area, where a snowboard fell off a vehicle. Police took a report.

11:45 a.m. Illegal dumping was reported in the 600 block of Anglers Drive, where nonresidents were using a Dumpster.

Noon. A wallet found at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road was turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

1:47 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man turned himself in on an outstanding assault warrant at the Routt County Sheriff’s Office.

3:12 p.m. Theft of a mountain bike was reported in the 400 block of Mountain Village Circle. The bike had been left unlocked outside a residence. Police took a report.

3:52 p.m. A dog bite complaint was received from the 100 block of Eighth Street. Police took a report.

5:12 p.m. A window was reported in the road in the 4100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The road was cleared.

5:18 p.m. A $50 gas skip was reported in the 35700 block of East U.S. Highway 40. Sheriff’s Office deputies are still trying to locate the driver.

5:50 p.m. An animal complaint was received from the 43500 block of Routt County Road 129, where a dog was attacking a yearling. The dog had to be put down.

8:03 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 137 on U.S. 40, where a car struck an elk. Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

8:56 p.m. Theft was reported from a parking lot at Seventh and Yampa streets, where items including a satellite radio receiver were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Police took a report.

9:11 p.m. Trespassing was reported in the 2600 block of Burgess Creek Road, where second-home owners arrived at their residence to find other people inside. The people had the permission of a maintenance man to be in the residence. Police are investigating.

9:51 p.m. A possibly drunken driver was reported heading westbound on U.S. 40 in Steamboat Springs. Police contacted the driver, who was sober.
