Steamboat Springs — 3:34 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a burglary alarm in the first block of Seventh Street. Employees at the business think a chair fell off a table and set off the alarm.
9:05 a.m. Police were called to a report of a border collie at large at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The dog was taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
10:06 a.m. Police were called to a report of a ski pass fraud at Steamboat Ski Area. Officers issued a ticket.
10:44 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to check on someone reportedly lying in the street at Rockies Way and Cornice Road. The call was unfounded.
10:46 a.m. Police were called to a report of ski pass fraud at Steamboat Ski Area. Officers issued a ticket.
11:44 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to a report of a fire in the 31000 block of Inca Road.
12:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 1600 block of Ranch Road. A person realized his or her car had been hit the previous day.
12:39 p.m. Police arrested a 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of theft for an incident involving a stolen jacket at a laundry facility several weeks ago. The man said he took the jacket by accident.
1:32 p.m. Police were called to two-car, noninjury crash in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car having slid off the road at Weiss Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The car was not there when officers arrived.
3:29 p.m. Police were called to assist Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue in an ambulance request for an elderly woman who reportedly had a seizure. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
3:39 p.m. A police response to a disturbance led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of third-degree assault and criminal mischief.
4:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of a theft at Steamboat Ski Area.
4:45 p.m. Police were called to a report of an assault in the 300 block of Little Moon Trail. A woman reported that her boyfriend’s ex-wife assaulted her.
5:27 p.m. Police were called to a car crash at Ski Time Square and Torian Plum Plaza.
6:16 p.m. Police were called to a car crash at Tamarack Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road.
9:21 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1400 block of Morgan Court. Officers issued a warning.
9:46 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint at River Queen Lane and Clubhouse Drive.
10:52 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fight in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A bar had a disturbance, and officers gave the instigator a trespass warning.
11:34 p.m. Police were called to the 2200 block of Village Inn Court to take a person at a New Year’s Eve party to detox. A sober friend was located for the person.
11:34 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1400 block of Morgan Court.
