12:43 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported several stranded cars on U.S. Highway 40. One car was towed, and the Colorado Department of Transportation was contacted.

1:20 a.m. A truck went off the road in the first block of Anglers Drive. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers gave the driver a courtesy transport, and a tow truck was called.

2:13 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the first block of Yampa Avenue. Police could not determine why the vehicle was suspicious.



3:20 a.m. An attempted burglary was reported in the 400 block of Anglers Drive. The door of a business was damaged in an apparent attempted break-in. Police took a report, and an investigation is ongoing.

4:09 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the first block of Lincoln Avenue.



5:46 a.m. A warrant was served on a suspect in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

6:32 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive where a business was broken into. Police took a report, and the investigation is ongoing.

6:49 a.m. Two cars were towed from the Knoll parking lot near the base of the Steamboat Ski Area.

8:41 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 3200 block of AprÃs Ski Way, where someone had chopped down a blue spruce tree growing in a residential yard. Police took a report, and the investigation is ongoing.

1:01 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2500 block of Village Drive. Police issued a ticket.

5:04 p.m. A man was reportedly yelling at a woman in Hayden. The man was gone by the time deputies arrived.

5:23 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury motor vehicle accident was reported on Eagleridge Drive. Police took a report.

6:03 p.m. One vehicle was towed from Columbine Drive.

7:04 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs. A man was conscious, breathing and apparently intoxicated in a business and could not move. The man refused an ambulance and was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center for detox.

8:53 p.m. A black pickup was reported stolen in the 800 block of Yampa Avenue. The owner reportedly left the keys in the vehicle. Police took a report.

10:27 p.m. Theft of services was reported in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue when a party left a restaurant without paying. Police took a report.

10:38 p.m. A fire alarm was triggered in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square. Everything was fine.

11:09 p.m. A noise complaint was made in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. Police responded to a loud party and issued a warning.
