12:18 a.m. People reportedly refused to leave a woman’s home in the 1300 block of Saratoga Avenue when she asked them to. Officers mediated the situation and the people left.

6:13 a.m. A large rock fell onto U.S. Highway 40 west of Steamboat Springs. The rock was removed from the


7:30 a.m. Someone parked a car on the Yampa Rover Core Trail behind a hotel in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers contacted the car’s owners and gave him or her a warning.

9:26 a.m. A man was caught using a woman’s ski pass at the Steamboat Ski Area.

9:49 a.m. A snowboarder was riding on private property in the 900 block of Larimer Street. Officers asked the snowboarder to leave.

10:48 a.m. Two people were arguing over a vehicle problem in the 3000 block of Columbine Drive.

1:29 p.m. A man registered as a sex offender at the police department.

1:58 p.m. A woman in her 30s reportedly was suffering from a seizure in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. The woman refused to be taken to the hospital.

2:06 p.m. A 14-year-old girl and her parents were arguing at the police

department. The girl reportedly told police she didn’t want to stay with either of her parents. Officers mediated the


2:47 p.m. A dog followed a student home from the 100 block of Logan Avenue.

6:36 p.m. Several young people reportedly were trying to get adults to buy them liquor from a store in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The young people were gone when officers arrived.

8:57 p.m. Two Routt County Jail inmates got into a verbal argument. The argument was not physical, and no criminal action was taken.

10:08 p.m. A 41-year-old Hayden man was arrested in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue for failing to appear. The 23-year-old driver of the car the man was riding in was arrested on suspicion of driving under revocation and driving with a defective stoplight.

10:59 p.m. A 40-year-old Erie woman was arrested in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza on suspicion of disorderly conduct, second-degree trespass and harassment. The woman reportedly gave a bartender a minor eye injury and tried to kick down a door.

11:14 p.m. A 30-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 2900 block of Columbine Drive on suspicion of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, obstructing EMS and obstructing police. Police said they were trying to take the intoxicated man to detox, and that

the man began kicking the police car doors and windows. No injuries were reported.
