12:30 a.m. The Oak Creek Fire Protection District and Routt County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a structure fire in the 300 block of Bell Avenue in Oak Creek. A small fire the started in an upstairs bathroom was the result of laundry stacked against a wall heater. No one was injured, and damages were estimated at $3,000.

1:14 a.m. Deputies were called to help a driver whose car had slid off the road. A tow truck was called.

2:13 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 29000 block of Yowell Court. It was a false alarm.

8:43 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1500 block of Conestoga Lane for a car alarm that had gone off earlier in the morning. A report was taken.

8:55 a.m. Deputies responded to a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 40 at mile marker 102. There were no injuries.

9:52 a.m. Deputies responded to a car that slid off Routt County Road 129 at mile marker 19. There were no injuries.

10:10 a.m. An officer was called to a semitrailer that was stuck on Fish Creek Falls Road. A tow truck pulled the semi up the hill.

10:13 a.m. Officers responded to a one-car, noninjury crash on Tamarack Drive. A truck slid off the road and hit a tree.

10:28 a.m. Officers responded to a vehicle complaint at Wildhorse Meadows for cars that were parking along the road and causing a traffic hazard. Additional signage is planned for the area.

10:31 a.m. Deputies responded to a truck that slid off the road near C.R. 129 and 44. There were no injuries.

12:12 p.m. Officers responded to a car that slid off the road at Après Ski Way and Walton Creek Road. The car was pulled out with help from another motorist.

12:39 p.m. Officers were called to a couple of cars that slid off Fish Creek Falls Road. Officers closed the road until sand trucks arrived.

12:54 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury crash on Bob Adams Drive involving a vehicle and a Steamboat Springs Transit bus. The driver of the vehicle was issued a ticket.

12:59 p.m. A two-car crash was reported at 13th and Gilpin streets. A car driving down Gilpin slid through the stop sign and into 13th Street, where it struck another car. The driver of the Gilpin Street car was issued a ticket.

2:09 p.m. A woman reported being bitten twice by a dog on Spring Creek. The bites did not break her skin, and she didn’t need medical attention. An animal control officer took a report.

3:02 p.m. Officers arrested a 39-year-old Aurora man in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of violating a protection order and violating bail bond conditions.

8:24 p.m. A woman who was shopping in Central Park Plaza reported that two men approached her children and made inappropriate remarks. The men were gone when officers arrived. A report was taken.

9:01 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue for tour buses that reportedly were blocking access for Steamboat Springs Transit buses. An officer determined that the tour buses did not pose a hazard.

11:09 p.m. Officers responded to a Lifeline call from the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive for an 80-year-old woman who fell out of her chair and couldn’t get up. The woman was not injured, and officers helped her.
