Steamboat Springs — 12:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 31-year-old Steamboat Springs resident on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving under revocation, no proof of insurance, violation of bail bond conditions and defective license plate lamps after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. The person’s car was towed.
1:37 a.m. Police arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and failing to signal after a traffic stop at Oak and 11th streets.
2:54 a.m. A noise complaint was made from the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza for two people in an upstairs unit who were stomping and fighting. All was quiet when officers arrived, but the people were warned.
7:49 a.m. A driver reportedly was passing in a no-passing zone on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 96.
8:19 a.m. A 45-year-old man called an ambulance to the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man had injured his back while skiing and wanted to be taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
2:10 p.m. A report of trespassing was made at Steamboat Springs High School. Officers issued a warning.
3:40 p.m. A brown rabbit was found in Hillside Village. The incident was referred to animal control officers.
3:53 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies helped the Oak Creek Police Department on a report of harassment.
3:56 p.m. Officers helped a motorist whose car had broken down at Mount Werner Road and Mount Werner Circle. A tow truck was called.
4:04 p.m. A wallet was found and turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.
4:55 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way where a tenant thought a unit might have been broken into. Nothing was missing, and it was determined that the damage was caused by a previous tenant.
8:02 p.m. Officers contacted the owner of a dog that had been barking for 30 minutes in the 1200 block of Anglers Drive.
9:05 p.m. Deputies were asked to perform a welfare check on a man who had not been heard from in several days. Deputies were unable to make contact with the man.
9:57 p.m. Officers provided backup to the Colorado State Patrol on a DUI arrest on U.S. 40 near mile marker 136.
11:25 p.m. Officers provided an escort to someone who wanted to get to the hospital from the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
11:43 p.m. Officers arrested a 31-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of driving while ability impaired and weaving after a traffic stop on Lincoln Avenue between downtown Steamboat and the mountain village. Her car was towed.
