12:07 a.m. Police pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop on the Mount Werner Road exit ramp off U.S. Highway 40. The 20-year-old driver was arrested because he had two outstanding warrants.
12:07 a.m. Police responded to complaints about a loud party near Thornburg Street and Yahmonite Road. An 18-year-old man was arrested on charges of being a minor in possession and resisting arrest.
12:42 a.m. Residents near Kelhi Court and Tamarack Drive reported that four children who exited a suspicious van were lurking around the nearby properties. The children were gone when officers arrived.
1:22 a.m. Officers arrested a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after she drove her vehicle down a short set of stairs near a Ski Time Square pedestrian walkway and parked in front of a liquor store in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
12:14 p.m. Residents in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza reported being harassed by noisy tubers on the Yampa River.
12:26 p.m. Drivers reported a suspicious-looking cardboard box left in the median along Mount Werner Road near U.S. 40.
12:40 p.m. Someone in the 700 block of North Grand Street reported a loose valve stem on his or her car tire along with a missing lid to the car’s oil reservoir. The person thought their car had been tampered with.
12:41 p.m. A lost cell phone was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:36 p.m. Landowners on Routt County Road 65, three miles west of Hayden, ignited a small fire while attempting to start an old pickup. The owners used their bulldozer to stop the flames from spreading. The Hayden Fire Department responded and contained the fire, which burned a few acres of sagebrush without damaging any structures.
2:36 p.m. Police responded to a suspicious incident reported in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Someone was trying to find clothing and personal items left inside the Steamboat Springs Community Center.
2:40 p.m. A dog was reported at large near the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:24 p.m. A fight was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Both parties had left the scene when officers arrived.
4:59 p.m. Juveniles near U.S. 40 and Elk River Road reportedly were throwing rocks at cars. The youths were gone when officers arrived.
8: 30 p.m. A noise complaint about fireworks going off near Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Lane was reported.
