6:58 a.m. Someone reportedly stole a man’s Ford truck in the 100 block of Logan Avenue. Officers found the truck five or six blocks from the man’s home about 15 minutes later. Nothing had been stolen, and no damage was done to the truck.
7:44 a.m. Someone reportedly stole a man’s Ford truck in the 900 block of Crawford Avenue. Officers found the truck a few blocks away from the man’s home. A police detector radar was stolen from the truck. No damage was done to the truck.
7:56 a.m. A 31-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of sharing child pornography in the 600 block of Grand Street. Police were assisting the FBI in investigating claims that the man was sharing child pornography. One of the man’s computers was seized a month ago, which resulted in officers finding a significant amount of pornographic material on the computer.
9:11 a.m. Officers mediated a custody dispute between two parents in the 1500 block of Conestoga Drive.
11:36 a.m. Someone reportedly shot a single bullet through the front bumper of a man’s pickup in the 400 block of Gilpin Avenue. The incident is under investigation.
1:14 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.
2:21 p.m. A mountain bike worth $200 reportedly was stolen in the 1400 block of Morgan Court.
5:31 p.m. Someone reportedly broke into a car in the 1300 block of Indian Trails and stole a chain saw, wrenches and other tools. A report was taken.
7:11 p.m. A motorcyclist reportedly was speeding near Lincoln Avenue and Fish Creek Falls Road. The motorcycle was gone when officers arrived.
10:40 p.m. A drunken woman was taken to detox from the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
10:59 p.m. A 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of third-degree assault and harassment after he reportedly was involved in a large fight. Police said a large group of men and one woman were fighting and that someone reportedly was shoved against a mobile home. The man who was arrested also was taken to the hospital to be treated for a cut to his left eye.
11:44 p.m. Police officers seized a fraudulent ID card from a bar in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
