1:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a bicycle crash at Ninth and Yampa streets. A 29-year-old Steamboat Springs man sustained minor head injuries and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center. Officers then arrested him on suspicion of failure to appear (theft) and fugitive of justice (contempt of court).
3:30 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 6000 block of Homesteader Lane in Hayden. The call was unfounded.
8:02 a.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail. The caller reported a fraudulent $257 charge on his credit card.
11:20 a.m. Police were called to a report of dogs fighting at the Old Town Hot Springs. One of the dogs was taken to a veterinarian.
12:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of threats in Dream Island. A person was waving a metal pipe at a person who had cut him or her off in traffic. Officers issued a ticket for menacing.
1:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the 700 block of Walton Creek Circle. A person reported a driver’s license and credit card missing and did not know where the theft had occurred.
2:42 p.m. Police were called to a two-vehicle, noninjury crash in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers issued a ticket.
2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 2400 block of Val d’Isere Circle. A sliding glass door had been broken, but police said there was no evidence of criminal activity.
2:52 p.m. Police were called to a two-vehicle, noninjury crash at U.S. Highway 40 near McDonald’s. Officers issued a ticket for following too closely.
3:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a drunken driver at mile marker 111 of U.S. 40. Deputies issued a warning.
6:33 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian at Maple Street and Harms Court. A person was taken to YVMC.
6:49 p.m. Police and Division of Wildlife officers responded to a report of a moose in the 200 block of Ski Time Square. Officers said the animal ran away.
8:22 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to a report of a fire in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. No more information was available.
9:37 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fight in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The fight was broken up, and no summonses were issued.
11:32 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 400 block of Yahmonite Street. Officers found an underage drinking party and issued numerous summonses for minor in possession of alcohol.
