2:48 a.m. A woman’s window reportedly was broken in the 35000 block of U.S. Highway 40 in Milner. A report was taken.

2:54 a.m. A window reportedly was broken in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.



3:31 a.m. Someone reportedly stole $513 in cash from a chocolate store in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said someone broke into the business through a window. The burglary is under investigation.

6:26 a.m. A woman’s truck reportedly was stolen from the 700 block of Walton Creek Road and was found in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. Police said nothing was missing and that the truck was not damaged.



7:11 a.m. Someone reportedly broke into a business in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive and attempted to steal money from the cash register. The person was not able to take any money because there was none in it, but he or she did steal the cash register’s keys, police said. A report was taken.

9:02 a.m. Someone reportedly broke into a business in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive and stole $142 in cash and $200 in earrings and mood rings. Police think the burglary was related to two others that occurred during the weekend. The incident is under investigation.

10:08 a.m. A small fire reportedly began in the 3300 block of AprÃs Ski Way after two young boys were playing with bottle rockets. The small fire consumed a 3-by-5-foot patch of grass, fire officials said. The boys and two hikers in the area put out the fire before firefighters arrived.

10:28 a.m. A man reportedly found a backpack near U.S. 40 and Mount Werner Road.

11:25 a.m. A fire began in the 25000 block of Routt County Road 52E after a turkey vulture reportedly landed on some electrical power lines, showering the ground with sparks. Fire officials said the fire consumed about 10 acres of land, but no other damage was reported.

12:09 p.m. A vending machine reportedly was damaged in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway.

1:58 p.m. A semitrailer rolled on Colorado Highway 131 about three miles north of Oak Creek. The truck was carrying a load of drywall that spilled across the roadway, blocking traffic and requiring an extensive cleanup. No other damage or injuries were reported.

3:03 p.m. A boiler reportedly was stolen from a new housing development in the 1700 block of River Queen Lane. A report was taken.

6:18 p.m. Someone reportedly stole 3.2-percent alcohol Busch beer from the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. A report was taken.

6:23 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1100 block of Fish Creek Falls Road.
