1:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who had pocket-dialed 911 operators.

1:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car stolen at Yampa and Seventh streets. An drunken man reported the car stolen, and officers found it parked a block away. Officers think the man forgot where he parked it.

2:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.



3 a.m. Officers contacted juveniles who were running around in the 100 block of Sixth Street and took them home.

8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of attempted fraud in the 600 block of Pine Street. Someone was contacted by a person claiming to work for the lottery.



12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

1:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of identity theft in the 2700 block of Abbey Road. Someone was trying to access a man’s bank account.

1:19 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a motorcycle driving recklessly near mile marker 54 on Colorado Highway 131.

1:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the first block of Cypress Court. Two college-age males were in a heated argument with an elderly man. One of the college-age men was given a summons to appear in court for disorderly conduct.

2:45 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person trespassing in the 49400 block of Routt County Road 129. Everything was fine.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 400 block of Anglers Drive.

8:16 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of someone who had been threatened in the 40200 block of C.R. 52.

8:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident at U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 68.

10:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party with teenagers swearing in the 2300 block of Storm Meadows Drive. A verbal warning was issued.

10:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud and rowdy in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.

10:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a trash can in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.

11:17 p.m. Officers tried to contact a suspicious male on a bike in the 900 block of Strings Road but were unable to contact him.

11:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers spoke with a man who said he had been asked to leave the bar. Outside the bar, the man was punched and knocked down by an unknown person. The man had a laceration above his eye and was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
