2:23 p.m. A woman was taken to the hospital near Central Park Drive and Mount Werner Road after she sustained minor injuries from a car accident. Police said the woman reportedly ran a red light and stuck another vehicle. The woman sustained minor injuries to her face and “injuries consistent with her air bag deploying.” The woman was cited for the accident. No other injuries were reported.

2:54 p.m. A controlled burn reportedly “got out of control” in the 21000 block of Routt County Road 132 in Yampa. Fire fighters with the Yampa and Oak Creek fire protection districts extinguished the fire.

3:10 p.m. A group of renters in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road completely destroyed the interior of the house by tearing drywall of the walls, discarding beer bottles and liquor bottles on the floors and spray-painting the walls with graffiti. Police estimated the damage around $20,000 to $30,000. The incident is under investigation.

3:17 p.m. A distraught woman was taken to her mother’s place of employment from the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza after the woman began arguing with an ex-boyfriend who had broken up with her.

3:59 p.m. A gas skip worth $30.42 was reported in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

4:26 p.m. A gas skip worth $25.12 was reported in the 2100 block of Mount Werner Road.

6:33 p.m. A man reportedly was selling frozen meat out of the back of his car in the 40000 block of North Star in Steamboat II. The incident is under investigation as a possible fraud.

6:46 p.m. The woman whose boyfriend had broken up with her earlier was given a LIFT-UP voucher to stay at a hotel for a night.

6:55 p.m. A 19-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 63 on suspicion of driving while ability impaired, being a minor in possession, weaving, not wearing a seat belt and possessing drug paraphernalia.

7:19 p.m. A woman lost her cell phone in Ski Time Square.

7:54 p.m. An intoxicated man riding a Steamboat Springs Transit bus reportedly touched a woman inappropriately as she got on the bus. Police stopped the bus on Lincoln Avenue and took the man to detox after the woman told police she did not want to press charges. The man reportedly told police the woman had stumbled while she was getting on the bus, and that he was “trying to hold her up.”

9:33 p.m. A woman in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway reported someone damaging her son’s video game console and several video games. The woman told police she suspected her older son caused the damage, and did not want to pursue criminal charges.

10:03 p.m. A group of people reportedly was standing on a balcony near Mountain Village Circle and Whistler Road playing loud music and yelling and screaming.

11:01 p.m. A woman reportedly was sitting at a bar and “pulling her hair out” in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person who called police thought the woman was on drugs. The woman was gone when officers arrived.

11:15 p.m. A couple in the 800 block of Anglers Court reportedly saw a car “going up and down the street” and then saw a group of people run across their neighbor’s lawn. The group was gone when officers arrived.
