12:12 a.m. Two dogs reportedly were running loose near Gilpin Street and Saratoga Avenue. One dog was taken to the animal shelter.
12:54 a.m. A loose dog was taken to the animal shelter from Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
7:13 a.m. Officers cited a man for menacing and disorderly conduct in the 800 block of Weiss Circle after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with a 3-foot sword.
7:50 a.m. A man reported tools stolen from a toolbox in the 41000 block of Routt County Road 44 in Clark.
10:19 a.m. A sick person was taken to the hospital from the 25000 block of C.R. 54 in Clark.

11:17 a.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department conducted its monthly sexual offender registration. All three registered sex offenders were in compliance.
11:47 a.m. A man was concerned that the odometer on his newly purchased car had been tampered with. Police told the man the situation was civil and not criminal.
11:54 a.m. Someone reportedly saw a vehicle pass a semi-truck on a double yellow line and nearly hit oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 40 near the Mount Harris exit. Officers contacted the vehicle’s driver as the driver approached Steamboat Springs. The 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and unsafe passing.
12:03 p.m. A woman reported losing her driver’s license in Steamboat.
12:11 p.m. A man in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive reported a man holding a cardboard sign asking for money. Officers contacted the man and told him to move along.
12:16 p.m. A man in the Elk River Estates subdivision reported hearing gunshots. Officers were unable to find the source of the shots.
12:49 p.m. A man reported a small brush fire in the 47000 block of C.R. 129. North Routt Fire Rescue extinguished the small fire. No injuries or damage was reported.
12:58 p.m. A woman reported someone speeding up and down Longview Circle. Officers were unable to find the driver.
1:36 p.m. A man in the 1100 block of Pine Street reported two fly rods and reels stolen from his front porch. The man estimated the equipment was worth between $750 and $1,000.
4:35 p.m. A woman near Mountain Vista Circle and Tamarack Drive reported a painter dumping “paint waste” into a ditch. The woman was concerned the paint was going to contaminate the water. Officers contacted the painter and gave him a verbal warning.
7:16 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a dog in the 3000 block of AprÃs Ski Way.
8:32 p.m. A drunken man reportedly tried to take a to-go order from Chelsea’s Restaurant in Oak Creek without paying for it. The restaurant’s bartender chased the man and took the food. Officers said they contacted the man and told him to pay for the food or they would file charges against him.
9:43 p.m. A shoplifter was cited for theft in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive after the person reportedly stole a pair of sunglasses and batteries from a store.
11:42 p.m. Someone found a driver’s license in the first block of Anglers Drive and turned it in to police.
