12:49 a.m. A drunken woman was taken to detox from the 200 block of Hill Street.

8:42 a.m. A man reportedly “jumped out of a cab” in the 1900 block of Mount Werner Road without paying his $25 fare. A report was taken.

9:59 a.m. A 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive because he was feeling sickly.

12:41 p.m. A Ford Focus reportedly was parked in a handicapped parking space without the appropriate sticker in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

1:02 p.m. Someone took and used a woman’s credit card in the 3000 block of Village Drive.

1:12 p.m. Two men wearing all black reportedly were selling perfume to people in the 2200 block of Curve Court. The men were given a warning.

2:32 p.m. A police officer conducted an alcohol compliance check at a business in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The business passed the check by not selling alcohol to an underage party.

2:48 p.m. Officers checked on a woman in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue who had not shown up for work. The woman was fine.

3:53 p.m. A gas skip worth $50 was reported in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The gas skip is being handled civilly.

4:03 p.m. A group of skateboarders reportedly was riding down Steamboat Boulevard. The skateboarders were gone when officers arrived.

4:25 p.m. A 16-year-old girl reportedly pulled the emergency brake in her mother’s car as the woman was driving toward Denver on U.S. Highway 40. The girl apparently was trying to get out of the car. Officers mediated the situation.

5:33 p.m. A man lost his cell phone somewhere in Steamboat.

6:27 p.m. A 32-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the first block of Spruce Street for being a fugitive of justice.

6:53 p.m. A 47-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested at his home on suspicion of driving under suspension and eluding a police officer after the man was stopped in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive but left when the officer went to check the man’s driver’s license. The officer followed the man home and arrested him after he pulled into his driveway.

10:08 p.m. A woman reportedly saw a drunken driver in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. Officers were unable to find the driver.

10:28 p.m. A 22-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 400 block of W. Jefferson in Hayden on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, not having insurance and speeding.

11:56 p.m. A man was cited for urinating in public in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
