1:37 a.m. Someone reportedly drove into a tree on Mount Werner Road near the Tree Haus Bridge. Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle on icy roads and slid into the tree, causing the car’s airbags to deploy. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor facial injuries.

8:07 a.m. A woman reported someone stealing a purple bench in the first block of Fifth Street. A report was taken.

8:18 a.m. A 10-year-old Oak Creek girl was taken to the hospital after a car slid into a stopped school bus in which she was riding. The driver of the car was cited for reckless driving. No other injuries were reported.

8:35 a.m. A 46-year-old Craig man was arrested on a fugitive of justice warrant in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.

8:52 a.m. A woman and child were involved in a rollover accident on Routt County Road 33 near mile marker 15. Neither was injured.

10:10 a.m. Someone reportedly broke into a woman’s home in the 33000 block of Catamount Drive. The woman told police someone broke a window to get inside and stole her car. Officers found the car stuck in mud on C.R. 16. The incident is under investigation.

12:46 p.m. Someone reportedly stole a tire balancer and paint sprayer worth $3,000 from a barn in the 43000 block of C.R. 44.

1:37 p.m. A man reported losing his cell phone at the Steamboat Ski Area.

5:10 p.m. A 47-year-old Craig man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, obstructing police, resisting arrest and reckless driving on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 129. Police said the man was not compliant with officers when they tried to arrest him.

9:08 p.m. A man reported someone stealing his wallet from his car in the 44000 block of C.R. 36.
