2 a.m. A 40-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order and violating his bail bond conditions.
2:12 a.m. A 23-year-old Denver man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving after he lost control of his car near Mount Werner Road and Routt County Road 14. Police said the driver and four passengers were not injured in the accident.
7:42 a.m. Someone reportedly hit a man’s motorcycle in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue and left the scene of the accident. A report was taken.
8:12 a.m. A man’s truck window reportedly was broken in the 400 block of Yampa Street.
8:33 a.m. A wallet reportedly was lost in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.
12:20 p.m. A 32-year-old Avon man was arrested in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of speeding and not having insurance or a valid driver’s license.
2:26 p.m. A 17-year-old skateboarder was taken to the hospital from near Ninth and Yampa streets after she sustained minor injuries when she hit a truck. Police said the girl was skateboarding down Ninth Street when she hit a moving truck driving down Yampa Street.
2:39 p.m. A bicyclist in her 30s was taken to the hospital from the Coulton Creek Trail near Pearl Lake in North Routt County after she went over her bike’s handlebars. Medics said the woman was not seriously injured and that she was wearing a helmet.
2:57 p.m. Someone near the Yampa River Core Trail and Dream Island Plaza reported a man beating a 3-year-old child. The man was gone before officers arrived.
3:27 p.m. A 22-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested near Sixth and Yampa streets on suspicion of driving under suspension, failing to notify he changed the color of his car, not having insurance and not having a registration card.
3:37 p.m. A 42-year-old man was taken to the hospital from near Downhill Drive and Jacobs Circle after he lost control of his motorcycle.
4:14 p.m. A dirt biker was taken to the hospital from near Farwell Mountain in North Routt County after he reportedly lost control of the dirt bike he was riding and crashed. Medics said the man was in stable but serious condition and that he may have broken bones and a collapsed lung.
5:20 p.m. Hotel residents in the 2000 block of Village Court were cited for possessing marijuana and were evicted from the hotel.
8:19 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue.
11:19 p.m. A rowdy bar patron in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly was trying to start a fight. The man was gone when officers arrived.
