12:08 a.m. A 32-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested near 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, weaving, following too closely, driving without a valid driver’s license and not having proof of insurance.
12:11 a.m. A group of people was given a verbal warning in the 3000 block of Columbine Drive for playing loud music and talking loudly. After officers left, the group turned the music up and began talking more loudly. Officers returned to the home and issued a citation.
1:02 a.m. Skateboarders using a ramp in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive were given a noise warning.
4:58 a.m. A 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital from the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Lane because he might have been having a seizure.
7:16 a.m. A van reportedly cut off a driver and crossed double yellow lines in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. Officers were not able to find the van.
12:27 p.m. A 69-year-old man was taken to the hospital from near Lincoln Avenue and Trafalgar Drive after he was involved in a car accident. Police said the man reportedly hit his stomach on his steering wheel and was complaining about other pains.
12:36 p.m. A twin-engine Cessna reportedly had engine problems at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport in the 11000 block of Routt County Road 51 in Hayden. Officials said the plane’s pilot was doing routine flying practices and that on his final run, his engine began to overheat and he called firefighters in case the plane caught on fire. The pilot was able to land the plane without a problem, and none of the four people aboard was injured.
1:06 p.m. An expensive diamond ring was reported stolen from the 2300 block of Penny Lane. A report was taken.
2:26 p.m. A 44-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 1900 block of Shield Drive on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice.
6:49 p.m. A 44-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 300 block of 11th Street on suspicion of possessing a Schedule 2 controlled substance, criminal mischief, aggravated second-degree assault and menacing.
7:19 p.m. A cargo plane reportedly was having problems with its cabin pressure as it came into the Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden. Officials said the pilot called for assistance in case something happened. The plane landed without problem.
7:34 p.m. Someone reportedly stole two cases of Red Bull from the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. Police were unable to find the car reportedly used in the theft.

Though the city of Steamboat Springs saw a slight decline in 2020 sales tax revenue as COVID-19 hit Routt County, the city is expected to catch up to its 2019 revenues.
