Terrance Stevens 1919-2000

Terrance “Terry” Stevens died April 21, 2000, in Grand Junction. He was 80.

Terry was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Steamboat Springs to Gerald and Mary (Cullen) Stevens.

He graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1937. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war he was employed as a parts man at various automobile dealerships in the Steamboat Springs area.



Terry married Doris V. Hellesen March 23, 1963, in Steamboat Springs where they lived until his retirement. In 1955 they moved to Clifton.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; two stepsons, Denzil Hellesen of Lebanon, Mo., and Eric Hellesen of Denver; and numerous cousins.



He was cremated.
