Tennis, pickleball endowment fund receives $25K challenge grant

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Maintenance Endowment Fund, which is held at the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, announced the largest matching challenge in the foundation’s 20-year history.

Moz and Debbie Modzelewski donated $25,000 to establish a matching funds challenge to boost the fund by $50,000. The endowment’s goal is to reach $90,000 by the end of this year and $1 million by 2029. Before the donation, the fund had $25,931.

To make a matching donation, visit YVCF.org/tennisandpickleballcenter or contact Helen Beall at helen@yvcf.org. In addition to cash, check or credit card, gifts of stock also will be accepted during the match.
