Sustainable Business and Solar Tour is April 9
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Yampa Valley Sustainability Council will host its annual Sustainable Business Tour at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. The event will begin at Mountain Valley Bank, 2201 Curve Plaza, where participants will hear presentations from CSU Extension energy specialist Cary Weiner and two local solar companies about solar energy for homes and businesses.
Participants then will go outside for an overview of the rooftop solar installation on Mountain Valley Bank by Matt Piva of Brightside Solar. The tour will then progress to Butcherknife Brewing Co., at 2875 Elk River Road, for an overview of the solar installation there led by Colin McCaulley of Sunwise Solar.
