Suspicious propane tanks: The Record for Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017

4:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

9:05 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person in the 700 block of Spring Creek Circle who received a text message believed to be a scam.



12:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Lincoln Avenue and Elk River Road. It was a road rage incident. The drivers were contacted, and the situation was mediated.

12:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute with a neighbor regarding a dog bite in the 3200 block of Après Ski Way.



4:53 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car with a couple of young children left alone in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car was gone when officers arrived.

6:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Someone was seen walking into a hotel with propane tanks. Police walked the property and could not find anything suspicious.

7:28 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person at JD Hays Way and South Lincoln Avenue.
