Suspicious man at hospital: The Record for Tuesday, July 17, 2018

9:11 a.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to a report of a plane that was having trouble with its landing gear. The plane landed safely.

2:51 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance between a ski area employee and a customer. The ski area handled the situation internally.

4:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man wandering around Yampa Valley Medical Center earlier in the day. The man told staff he was checking out the facility before he had a procedure done.

7:41 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with an unattended death in the 400 block of Meadowbrook Court.

9:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a downtown restaurant employee who gets drunk every night and then drives home.

11:43 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a structure fire in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane.

11:53 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle.
