Super powers: Roger Carlson is very active in the community. He volunteers at Casey’s Pond every week and is active with Routt County Democrats through local events and meetings. He volunteers his time to hospice and Routt County Cleanup and plans to volunteer for the REPS program this fall. He believes he is here on Earth to serve others. In addition, he makes time to socialize with other seniors at the weekly Routt County Office on Aging senior lunches and avidly attends the evening programs at the Bud Werner Memorial Library as well as the Seminars at Steamboat. He exercises daily at Anytime Fitness where he rides a stationary bike. He is well-known around Steamboat for his friendly attitude and his offering of a “Taste of Chicago.”
