Super Fun Halloween Extravaganza to take center stage Friday
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Super Fun Halloween Extravaganza is back this weekend. The fourth annual show will take the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Chief Theater.
Typically the craziest show of the year, according to director Todd Danielson, it will feature Halloween-themed short movies and songs as well as some haunting classical music from the duo of Carolyn Berns on violin and Beth Blaskovich on keyboard.
What: Super Fun Halloween Extravaganza
When: 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12
Where: Chief Theater, 813 Lincoln Ave.
The show will be dedicated to cast member Sharon Pinney because Friday’s show will be her last, at least until the Yampa Valley Curse kicks in, Danielson said.
Costumes are highly encouraged for the audience as well as the cast. The audience also will have a chance to win a variety of prizes through the costume contest.
The show is free with optional donations going toward STARS, a local nonprofit that provides programs for people with disabilities to participate in adaptive outdoor activities.
