12:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Officers conducted a traffic stop at Yampa and Eighth streets. A 33-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and received a traffic citation for failing to use required lights.
2:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at Colorado Highway 131 and U.S. Highway 40. A man was reportedly standing in the road. Officers were unable to locate the man.
6:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian near Burgess Creek Road and Storm Meadows Drive. A man, believed to be intoxicated, was walking down a private road. Officers were unable to locate him.
6:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 800 block of Fox Lane. A caller reported that two hours before, two men in their 20s came up to her door and asked to come inside and videotape the home. The men said they were with Youtube. Officers took a report.
7:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square. An unknown amount of cash was taken from a tent set up for an event.
8:49 p.m. Offices were called to a report of two drunken pedestrians at a condominium complex in the 2200 block of Après Ski Way. The men were medically cleared, and officers gave them a lift home.
9:33 p.m. Officers received a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A caller reported hearing shots a few minutes prior. Officers took a report.
10:28 p.m. Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A car pulled up, turned its light’s off and sat there for about five minutes. A caller believed two people in the car appeared to be smoking something. Officers spoke to the people and found no crime.
10:37 p.m. Officers received a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 1200 block of Meadowood Court. A person reported a “highly” intoxicated man walked up the driveway and said he was trying to find his way back to his home on Walton Pond Circle. The caller said the man was wearing all black and a “stupid looking hat.” The caller could not provide any further description of the hat. Officers were unable to locate the man or his allegedly stupid hat.
