Stephanie Levin: Roller coaster is eyesore

I’ve come to Steamboat Springs for years in the summer because of the natural beauty and verdant, pristine nature. Thus, I was appalled to see a metal roller coaster blighting the mountainside as well as ridiculous rides cluttering squares for kids.

This is a blight on this community and doesn’t belong. If people want Disneyland, there are plenty of other places to visit.

Steamboat Springs should not be competing with a theme park; it’s tacky and destroys the natural beauty.
