Steamboat Walmart welcomes new manager
The Steamboat Springs Walmart store has a new general manager who has been with the company since high school.
A veteran in the retail industry, Carrie Tiller brings more than 18 years experience to her new role at the Steamboat Springs Walmart, according to a news release. Originally from Florida, Tiller, who began her Walmart career in high school as a part-time cashier, has worked her way through the ranks and held various positions within the company over the years.
“I’m very proud and eager to step into the position of store manager at the Steamboat Springs location,” Tiller was quoted as saying in a news release. “Our customers are our number-one priority, and I look forward to serving them and providing the community with the highest standard of customer service.”
Tiller and her husband met at a Walmart back in Florida. They have been married for 15 years and have a 12-year-old son. They have been in Colorado for five years now, and both still work at Walmart. In fact, Tiller’s husband works at the Avon location. Tiller and her family have a love for horses and all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
