Inviting Grand Junction Central to Steamboat on Saturday, Oct. 15, the Sailors volleyball team won its fifth straight match to remain undefeated in October.

Getting a weeklong break to practice and prepare for the end of the season, the Sailors came into the game fresh and pulled off a victory in the five-set match. The win brings the Sailors’ season record to 13-5 while they remain 4-4 in league play.

Steamboat will hit the road for two games, the first coming against Roaring Fork in a non-league match on Thursday, Oct. 20.
