Steamboat tennis takes on tough competition Saturday

■ 10:30 a.m. Saturday: Steamboat vs. Niwot

The Sailors again play the best competition they can. Niwot brings in a team full of state title hopes with top singles players Harrison Lang and Michael Ogez. Last year, Lang was the Class 4A state title winner at No. 1 singles, where he beat former Sailors player Keegan Burger in the semifinals. Ogez won the title at No. 2 singles. Steamboat’s No. 1 player Jamey Swiggart and No. 2 player Luke Farny should get tested and prove where they stand among the state’s best.
