STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Symphony Orchestra’s Fall “Immersion Weekend,” slated to begin Friday, brings together students of all ages from throughout Routt County to hone their musical skills.
Three orchestras will be offered for the young string players along with a small ensemble offering for intermediate and advanced students led by Ernest Richardson, the orchestra’s musical director.

When: 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3
Where: Steamboat Springs High School auditorium, 45 Maple St.
The concluding concert will be 4 p.m. Sunday in the Steamboat Springs High School auditorium. The program will feature a few movie favorites like “Pirates of the Caribbean” as well as chamber works by Mozart, Haydn and Schumann. Donations will be taken at the door.
