Steamboat Springs wrestling takes sixth as a team at invite in Paonia

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Three Sailors took home top-4 placings at the Screaming Eagle Invitational in Paonia this weekend.

Spencer Mader led Steamboat Springs High School with a second-place finish in the 126-pound weight class. John Slowey, 195, and Cole Moon, 220, each took home third-place finishes.

Caleb Anderson, 145, capped off the Sailors team with a fourth place performance.

The Sailors came in sixth overall as a team.
