Steamboat Springs moguls skiers compete in Sweden

— Steamboat Springs moguls skier Jeremy Cota registered an eighth-place finish Friday in a single moguls World Cup event in Are, Sweden. Cota was fourth after qualifying but struggled on his second run.

Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club member Pat Deneen didn’t finish, and Steamboat’s Eliza Outtrim failed to make the finals and finished 31st.

American Hannah Kearney continued her torrid domination of the season, wrapping up her second World Cup moguls title with a win.

The event continues today with a dual moguls event. The World Cup wraps up next week in Myrkdalen-Voss, Norway.
