Steamboat senior named Optimist Teen of the Month

Lincoln Hildebrand, a senior at Steamboat Springs High School, was named Teen of the Month by the Optimist Club of Steamboat Springs. Hildebrand is a strong student with a 4.09 grade point average, and she’s very involved in extracurricular activities. She serves as president of the Interact Club, secretary of the National Honor Society, director of the Dance Showcase and a Link Crew leader.

In addition to school-related activities, Hildebrand has devoted to spending her summers volunteering abroad. She has spent time in Ghana, Morocco and the British Virgin Islands. She also was awarded the Colorado Outstanding Student Award from the University of Colorado Boulder as a junior.

After high school, Hildenbrand plans to attenda a four-year university and study either architecture, journalism or international relations.
