Steamboat post office expands window hours for holidays

— The downtown Steamboat Springs post office will staff its inside window later than normal hours through Dec. 24. People can pick up packages and mail and drop off prepaid packages at the window until at least 5:30 p.m. today, 4 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The window might stay open later if customers continue to arrive.

Customers cannot drop off packages to be mailed at the window unless they already have postage. Prepaid postage can be bought at usps.com.



Full post office service will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
