Steamboat high drama troupe presents ‘Waaay Off Broadway’

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Springs High School students will present their newest production, “Waaay Off Broadway,” on Friday.

The production took the stage on Thursday and a second performance will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium, 45 E. Maple St.

“Waaay Off Broadway” is a collection of musical numbers, one-act plays and dance performances. The high school drama troupe will take these pieces to compete at the Colorado State Thespian Conference in December.

The performance includes numbers from “Hamilton,” “Chicago,” “Heathers” and more. Donations will be accepted with proceeds benefiting  the high school drama troupe.
