Steamboat Group sponsoring ‘Double your Donation’ for LiftUp Food Bank
The Steamboat Group is doing a “Double your Donation” Food & Fundraising drive to allow LiftUp Food Bank to buy Fresh Produce for their clients this winter.
“Last December generous locals and second homeowners helped us raise $56,000 to put nutritious food on our neighbor’s plates over the winter,” said Jon Wade, Steamboat Group owner and broker. “We are raising our goal to $75,000 to meet this need. If individuals would be open to helping Steamboat locals, Steamboat Group will double a donation up to the goal. It’s a surefire way to have your holiday giving go twice as far.”
Lift Up is seeing a 20% increase in need and is currently serving 2,999 locals, meaning the group needs all the help it can get.
“We hope to inspire members of our community to help Steamboat locals who are hungry despite working more than full-time hours.” Wade said. “That’s why we do these drives for LiftUp. Part of our mission is to connect people with organizations that are making a big difference for locals.”
