Steamboat Golf Club to tee off against prostate cancer

— The Steamboat Golf Club will host a special men’s club fundraiser to battle prostate cancer Wednesday.

The cost for the tournament is $50 and includes 18 holes, prizes, a drink and a $20 donation to Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer. The scramble format tournament is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. There also will be a nine-hole event that costs $43 and includes the $20 donation to Arnie’s Army. The nine-hole fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m. Anyone who wants to play or make a donation should call 970-879-4295.
