Steamboat girls lacrosse takes home second win

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Springs High School girls lacrosse team notched a 14-4 road victory over the Summit Tigers on Tuesday, March 26.

Sailors senior Lucy Shimek scored her 200th career goal in the first half and added four more on the night. Junior Riley Schott also had five goals. Senior Alicia Mitchell added a pair of goals, and both senior Cat Read and junior Katie Lake each added one goal in the win.

The Sailors (2-1) return to action on Saturday at 4 p.m. on Friday in Grand Junction at Grand Junction High School. (2-1)
