Steamboat Chamber’s Winter Expo to showcase local businesses

Roughly 50 local businesses are set to attend a local showcase hosted by the Steamboat Springs Chamber this week as part of the organization’s 2023 Winter Expo event.

Scheduled to take place at The Steamboat Grand on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 4-5:30 p.m., the exhibition will feature Routt County businesses — including activity and recreation providers, restaurants and nonprofits — as a way to showcase for locals and tourism industry personnel what products and services are available in the area going into the winter season.

“The Expo is an excellent resource for connecting businesses to the new concierge and other visitor-facing workers who can better guide people on where to shop, eat, play, volunteer and learn,” Steamboat Springs Chamber CEO Sarah Leonard said in a statement. “We look forward to this event each year as it’s a wonderful way to gather our community as we kick-off winter.”

The event — which is sponsored by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp., Old Town Hot Springs, Always Mountain Time, iFurnish, and SaveATree — is free for all attendees and will include food and beverage options provided by local restaurants and businesses.

Participating businesses will also be giving away prizes valued at $25 or more.
